Short bio: 

Alana Maurushat is Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Law at UNSW Australia and Co-Academic Director of UNSW Law's Cyberspace Law and Policy Community. Dr. Maurushat has spent more than a decade working in Hong Kong, France, the United States, Canada and Australia in the fields of intellectual property, information technology law and cybercrime/cybersecurity. Dr. Maurushat is on the Board of Directors of the Internet Fraud Watchdog and a key researcher in the Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) Data to Decision – Big Data and National Security, 2014-2019.
